DIKHAN: A tragic road accident on Thursday in Paharpur Tehsil claimed the lives of five individuals including a medical student and her two brothers when a motor car collided head-on with a Hino truck on Chashma Road. The impact was so severe that all passengers died on the spot and the car was completely destroyed.

According to Rescue 1122 spokesperson Aizaz Mehmood, In a tragic road accident near Kirri Khisur on Chashma Road in Paharpur Tehsil, Dera Ismail Khan, five people were killed on the spot when a Punjab-bound Hino truck collided with a GLI car coming from Islamabad to Dera Ismail Khan.

Upon receiving the report, District Emergency Officer Engineer Fasihullah of Rescue 1122 immediately dispatched two ambulances and a recovery vehicle. The rescue teams swiftly carried out the operation and transported the deceased to Paharpur Hospital.

The collision was so intense that the car was completely destroyed, and all passengers died instantly. The victims were identified as Rooda Munir (daughter of Munir Khan), her brothers Muhammad Moatasim and Muhammad Talha (residents of Zafarabad Colony, Dera), their relative Muzammil (resident of Bannu), and the car driver Waseem (son of Qayyum).

The bodies were trapped in the wreckage and were recovered by cutting the vehicle using machinery. It has been reported that the deceased siblings were students, with Rooda Munir studying medicine.
