PESHAWAR: Special Assistant to Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Communication and Works, Muhammad Sohail Afridi, visited the under-construction Khyber Institute of Child Health and Children Hospital in Hayatabad, Peshawar. On this occasion, engineers from the Communication and Works Department and other relevant officials were also present. The Special Assistant inspected various sections of the construction work and reviewed the progress of the project in detail.
During the visit, engineers from the Communication and Works Department gave a detailed briefing to the Special Assistant regarding the hospital project. They informed him that most of the construction work is near completion, but some essential tasks are still pending. They added that the electricity bill has already been paid to WAPDA for meter installation, but the meter has not yet been installed.
In response, Muhammad Sohail Afridi directed the concerned authorities to ensure immediate installation of the meter and the swift completion of all remaining tasks so that this important public welfare project can be completed within the stipulated timeframe.
The Special Assistant stated that all these measures are being taken in line with the vision of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Patron-in-Chief Imran Khan and under the guidance and directives of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sardar Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, in order to provide modern and quality healthcare facilities to the children of the province.
