PESHAWAR: Assistant Monitoring Officers through out the province have extended their heartfelt gratitude to Usman Zaman, Director General M&E, for successfully organizing a comprehensive and interactive capacity-building training workshop held in the scenic valley of Shogran.
The workshop, conducted in three separate batches from July 14 to July 19, focused on strengthening the technical, analytical, and operational skills of Monitoring & Evaluation officers.
The sessions covered critical areas including KPPRA rules, recruitment through ETEA, the Ten Billion Tree Tsunami Programme, planning cycles, modern monitoring techniques, evaluation methodologies, and technical report writing. These sessions were designed to equip officers with up-to-date knowledge and practical tools to enhance the effectiveness of the M&E framework at both district and divisional levels.
The training was led by the technical team from M&E Headquarters, including Sajjad Khan (ADG), Mian Zakiullah (Moderator), and key resource persons Akhtar Shahzad and Ejaz Hamid. The facilitation team comprising Sultan Khan, Abdul Wahid Shah, Aizaz, and Zeeshan Khan ensured smooth coordination and a rich learning experience throughout the workshop.
Participants, especially Assistant Monitoring Officers, appreciated the initiative and commended the leadership of DG M&E for arranging such a timely and relevant training during peak season despite logistical challenges. The training not only enhanced professional skills but also fostered team spirit and mutual collaboration among the M&E cadre.
The participants collectively acknowledged this effort as a forward-looking step toward institutional strengthening and expressed hope for continued learning opportunities in the future.
