PESHAWAR: In a remarkable step towards digital empowerment, students of the prestigious Institute of Management Sciences (IM Sciences) in Peshawar have launched a software house named “Code Club” on a self-help basis. The initiative is designed to promote computer technology, create awareness about modern tech trends, and provide students with income-generating opportunities.
A simple yet graceful inauguration ceremony was held, where veteran journalist Amjad Aziz Malik formally inaugurated the Code Club. Muhammad Habib Qureshi, senior lawyer and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, also graced the event with his presence.
Abdullah Hasnain Qureshi, the visionary behind the project, explained the objectives of the software house. He shared that this free-of-cost platform has been independently set up by IM Sciences students to enhance digital skills and equip their peers with the tools necessary for success in the tech-driven world. In its first phase, around 30 male and female students have joined the initiative.
“This effort is meant to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical experience,” said Abdullah Hasnain Qureshi. “We are confident that the outcome will be inspiring and impactful.”
Speaking at the occasion, Amjad Aziz Malik praised the students’ dedication and highlighted IM Sciences’ reputation as one of Pakistan’s premier educational institutions. “It is heartening to see that not only its graduates but current students are contributing to national progress, especially in the tech sector,” he remarked.
He added that the Code Club will serve as a launching pad for students to engage in real-world projects, develop their skills, and showcase their talent a crucial step toward future professional success.
