Staff Report

PESHAWAR: The Frontier Foundation has completed 22 years of dedicated service, providing vital support to thousands of patients suffering from thalassemia, hemophilia, and other hereditary blood disorders. To commemorate this milestone, a special ceremony was held in Peshawar, celebrating the organization’s enduring commitment to saving lives through voluntary blood donation and public awareness campaigns.

Speaking at the event, Chairman Sahibzada Muhammad Haleem reflected on the Foundation’s journey, stating, “What began as a modest initiative has today grown into a major welfare organization. The contribution of financial donors and selfless blood donors has been the backbone of our 22-year journey, and their continued support is essential for our future efforts.”

Administrator Dr. Fakhar Zaman outlined the Foundation’s key achievements, including the organization of hundreds of blood donation camps, consistent supply of safe blood and its components to patients in need, and awareness programs aimed at educating the public about blood-related illnesses.

He noted that more than 300,000 units of blood have been donated through the Foundation since its inception—an achievement that has positioned Frontier Foundation as the leading blood and blood component supplier in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The event served not only as a celebration of past successes but also as a call for continued collaboration from the community. “Our journey of service is far from over,” emphasized Haleem. “With the community’s help, we will continue to stand by every patient in need.”
