Under-16 Boys and Girls Invited to Participate at Hayatabad Sports Complex

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Athletics Team Trials for the upcoming All Pakistan Youth Games will be held on August 9, 2025, at 9:00 AM at the Hayatabad Sports Complex, Peshawar. The trials are open to all under-16 male and female athletes from across the province, born in 2009.
The announcement was made by Abid Nazim, Head Coach and Administrator of Hayatabad Sports Complex, who stated that the trials aim to select the province’s most promising young talent to represent Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the Youth Games, scheduled to be held next month at the Jinnah Sports Complex, Islamabad.
“We are confident that our young athletes will perform as brilliantly in the Youth Games as they did in the Quaid-e-Azam Games. The selection will be based purely on merit,” said Abid Nazim while speaking to the media.
To ensure a fair and professional selection process, a trials committee has been formed, comprising:
•Chief Coach: Jafar Shah
•Head Coach: Abid Nazim
•Members: Saffron Afridi, Adnan Khan
•Female Coach: Bushra
All athletes appearing for trials are required to bring the following documents:
•A copy of Form-B
•A copy of Domicile Certificate
•Passport-sized photographs
•A copy of their CNIC or Guardian’s CNIC
The Youth Games are being organized by the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) in collaboration with the Pakistan Olympic Association (POA), and aim to foster youth development and sportsmanship across the country.
