RAWALPINDI: The Army Chief stated that the army deployed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will fully assist in the rehabilitation of the flood-affected population. Security Sources

Pakistan Army has donated one day’s salary for the rehabilitation of flood-affected people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Pakistan Army has allocated one day’s worth of its rations, amounting to over 600 tons, for the assistance of flood-affected people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The Army Chief has issued special instructions to the Corps of Engineers to expedite the repair of bridges, and to establish temporary bridges where necessary.

The Army’s 9th Unit Rescue Sniffing Dog Unit is also being deployed for search and rescue operations.

A special Urban Search and Rescue Team of the Army has also been deployed on the directions of the Army Chief.
Army helicopters and aviation units have already been deployed for the rehabilitation of flood-affected people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Pakistan Army stands shoulder to shoulder with the brave people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in every time of difficulty.
