KAGHAN: Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid, inaugurated the BISP Dynamic Registration Center in Kaghan to facilitate deserving families with convenient access to registration and welfare services.
Speaking at the inauguration, Senator Rubina Khalid said that the purpose of the new center is to provide quick and easy survey facilities for local families so that no deserving household is left behind. She highlighted that the long and difficult journey from Kaghan to Balakot posed hardships for women and the elderly, and the establishment of this center will ensure doorstep registration facilities for the local community.
“This initiative reflects BISP’s vision that no deserving family should be left behind,” she said.
On her arrival, the Chairperson was warmly welcomed by local women and young girls who presented her with flowers. She also held an open court to directly hear the problems of women, providing them with guidance on BISP initiatives including Benazir Kafalat, Benazir Nashonuma, and Benazir Educational Scholarships.
Detailed information was shared regarding survey registration, complaint procedures, the 8171 helpline, and biometric verification.
Later, Senator Rubina Khalid personally supervised the registration process of local women at the center and instructed staff to treat deserving, poor, and elderly women with dignity and respect throughout the process.
