PESHAWAR: Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) scholar Humera Ambareen successfully defended her research under the supervision of Dr. Aziz ur Rahman from Qurtaba University on Monday, May 19, 2025.
Dr. Amir Ullah Khan Wazir, from the Department of Political Science at Islamia College University Peshawar, served as the external examiner for the defense.
Her research, titled “Peacebuilding in District Kurram: The Role of NGOs, Civil Society, and Local Jirga,” examined the significant contributions of various local actors in fostering peace in the region.
Humera Ambareen expressed gratitude for the prayers of her parents and the dedicated support of her teachers, crediting them for her academic success.
