In the name of religion, the Fitna Al-Khawarij continue to spill innocent blood. Their violence, masked as jihad, is in fact a betrayal of Islam, both in spirit and in law. These agents of terror, operating from the shadows of foreign agendas, have declared war not only on the state but on the faith they claim to uphold. And today, with mounting evidence, their reality is no longer a matter of speculation: they are proxies not of belief but of India and its intelligence agency R&AW, and tools in a dangerous strategy to destabilise Pakistan.
Recently, a video surfaced on social media showing Khariji Noor Wali Mehsud, the self-styled leader of this group, shamelessly advocating for alliances with Hindu powers. Not only did he justify taking help from non-Muslim forces, but he dressed it up as a “strategic necessity” for their so-called jihad. This isn’t just theological deviation it is a confession. It lays bare what many in the state and society have long understood: the Khawarij are fighting not for Islam, but for Indian objectives in the region.
For decades, the Khawarij have claimed religious legitimacy for their campaign of terror. They have attacked mosques, schools, security forces, and markets. They have gunned down clerics, bombed funerals, and killed children in broad daylight. Now, as if to remove the last remaining doubt, they openly acknowledge support from the very powers historically hostile to Islam and Muslims.
The Quran, in Surah Al-Ma’idah, is unambiguous: “O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you then indeed, he is [one] of them.” Now whhat then can be said about those who not only form alliances with anti-Muslim forces but even label them as “Islamic wisdom”?
This isn’t a theoretical concern anymore, their betrayal is being documented in real time. In recent weeks, compelling evidence has emerged on social media exposing the Khawarij’s direct collaboration with foreign handlers. Footage shows them using sophisticated drones and quadcopters, clearly acquired through Indian support, to target both civilians and security forces in North Waziristan. Their operations are no longer underground; they are filmed, flaunted, and circulated with pride. These are not isolated incidents but a pattern of deliberate aggression backed by hostile powers.
But the question is, where are the principles of jihad in this? Where is the sanctity of life? Where is the mercy that the Prophet (SAW) embodied?
This is not jihad. It is proxy warfare, funded and supported by a hostile neighbour that seeks nothing more than internal chaos in Pakistan. India have long maintained covert networks in the region. Today, the Khawarij are their loudest collaborators. Their weapons, strategies, and media campaigns are all aligned with Indian interests, not Islamic values.
It is, therefore, no surprise that Khariji Noor Wali Mehsud now praises the utility of alliances with Hindu forces. His words are not just misguided they are treacherous. They expose the group’s true colours: enemies of Islam masquerading as its defenders.
But the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa especially those who have borne the brunt of this terror are neither fooled nor silent. Across North and South Waziristan, Bajaur, Kurram, and beyond, the public has made its position clear: this is a fitna, and the state must act with full force. Community leaders, clerics, and common citizens have spoken that they stand shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces in demanding that this menace be eliminated. There is no ambiguity in the people’s voice anymore: they are not freedom fighters, they are terrorists.
This clarity from the public must be met with unwavering resolve from the state. The war against the Khawarij is not just a military operation, it is a religious, moral, and national obligation.
India, meanwhile, must be called out on the global stage. Its covert support for terrorism in Pakistan, particularly through R&AW’s financing of extremist groups, has exposed its duplicity. While it parades itself as the world’s largest democracy, it funds and arms the murderers of Muslim children across the border. This duality must be condemned in the strongest terms.
The path forward demands unity, clarity, and resolve. Every Pakistani must recognise Fitna Al-Khawarij for what they are: enemies of Islam, enemies of Pakistan, and pawns in a foreign conspiracy. We must name them, shame them, and oppose them in every space whether in our mosques, our schools, or our media.
Moreover, to the people of Pakistan, especially the brave residents of the tribal belt: This is your moment to rise. Stand firm, resist their poisonous narrative, and support the security forces defending your homeland. Recognise the true face of these khawarij and expose them for what they are. Let there be no confusion, this is not a war of ideology; this is a war for survival. And in this war, neutrality is not an option.
