PESHAWAR: RMI Education celebrated its 4th Convocation in a vibrant and memorable ceremony, marking a major academic milestone by conferring degrees on 364 graduates from Rehman Medical College, Rehman College of Dentistry, Rehman College of Nursing, Rehman College of Rehabilitation Sciences and Rehman College of Allied Health Sciences.
The ceremony brought together graduating students, proud parents, families, faculty members and leaders from the health sector, creating an atmosphere filled with celebration, gratitude and reflection on years of hard work and perseverance.
Parents watched with visible emotion as their children walked across the stage, while graduates expressed joy and confidence as they marked the completion of their academic journey and prepared to step into professional life.
A total of 15 graduates received gold medals in recognition of outstanding academic performance, reflecting consistency, discipline and academic excellence.
The convocation was attended by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Health Khaleeq Ur Rehman, Vice Chancellor Khyber Medical University Prof Dr Zia Ul Haq, Chairman RMI Prof Dr Muhammad Rehman and CEO RMI Shafique Ur Rehman, along with other distinguished guests.
Graduates proudly donned their academic caps and gowns, followed by the traditional cap tossing that symbolised achievement and new beginnings. They took the oath, reaffirming their commitment to serve humanity with professionalism, ethics and integrity.
Addressing the gathering, the provincial health minister appreciated RMI’s contribution to producing skilled healthcare professionals serving communities within Pakistan and beyond. He highlighted growing health challenges and emphasised the responsibility medical graduates carry in responding to these needs.
CEO RMI Shafique Ur Rehman congratulated the graduates and their families, noting that academic success reflects collective effort and the unwavering support of parents and families.
The ceremony concluded on a note of pride, happiness and responsibility, marking the graduates’ transition into professional life and reinforcing RMI’s role in advancing healthcare education in Pakistan.
