Chakdara: Assistant Commissioner Adinzai Salimullah Ayubi and Additional Assistant Commissioner Adinzai Shahzad Ahmed Abbasi visited Chakdara Press Club yesterday, where the newly elected cabinet and members warmly welcomed the officers.

Chakdara Press Club President Muhammad Jalil, General Secretary Hakim Noorfakir, Finance Secretary Javed-ur-Rehman, Joint Secretary Ahmed Shah, Vice President Abdul Rahim, Chairman Muhammad Israr, and other members were present on the occasion.

Speaking to the media, Assistant Commissioner Salimullah Ayubi stated that the repatriation of Afghan refugees from across Lower Dir district, particularly Tehsil Adinzai, is continuing at a record pace with mutual consent and complete respect. He assured that no injustice would be done during the process and that all actions are being taken strictly in accordance with laws and regulations.

Additional Assistant Commissioner Shahzad Ahmed Abbasi emphasized that encroachments in markets will not be tolerated and that indiscriminate action will be taken to ensure public convenience. He added that the administration is making serious efforts to resolve public issues step by step and highlighted the positive role of the media in this regard.

The Press Club officials briefed the officers on regional challenges, including encroachments, traffic management, law and order, and public welfare issues. They expressed hope that close cooperation between the district administration and the Press Club would help expedite solutions to public problems.

At the conclusion of the visit, both officers congratulated the newly elected cabinet of Chakdara Press Club and reaffirmed their commitment to continued collaboration between the administration and the media for the rule of law and the public interest.
