PESHAWAR: When devastating floods swept through Peer Baba in Buner, they didn’t just wash away homes—they drowned dreams, safety, and peace. Amid this tragedy, Afridi Medical Complex, Peshawar, rose as a beacon of hope, stepping forward not just with aid, but with compassion. In response to the crisis, Afridi Medical Complex set up a free medical camp in the heart of the affected region, offering essential medical services, free check-ups, and lifesaving medicines to hundreds of flood victims. With families left without shelter or resources, this initiative has become a lifeline. CEO Shah Jahan Afridi shared: “In the face of such pain, silence is cruelty. It is our moral and human duty to stand with those who have lost everything. This medical camp is not just about treatment—it is about restoring dignity and hope.” Director Riaz Afridi added: “We are not just giving medicine—we are giving a message: You are not alone. Our mission is clear—no child should suffer, no mother should cry helplessly, and no patient should be left untreated.” Afridi Medical Complex continues to serve with the belief that where there is pain, we must be present. We urge the government, civil society, and every compassionate soul to come forward and support the flood victims—because humanity is the bond that binds us all.
