ISLAMABAD: Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao held a comprehensive meeting with a visiting delegation of US diplomats at Watan Kor Islamabad, where both sides engaged in an in-depth discussion on matters of mutual interest, the evolving regional situation, and prospects for enhanced bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, issues of political and economic collaboration, regional stability, and people-to-people engagement were deliberated upon. The dialogue reflected a shared interest in strengthening ties and exploring new avenues of cooperation between Pakistan and the United States.
The US delegation was led by Consul General Thomas Eckert and comprised Kapil Gupta, Mohammad Amir, and Shahid Islam, who contributed to the discussion with insights from their respective domains.
On the occasion, Provincial Chairman Sikandar Khan Sherpao, Political Secretary to the Chairman Hanif Shah, along with other senior party leaders, were also present and actively participated in the meeting.
The participants emphasized the importance of sustained engagement, mutual understanding, and constructive dialogue to further strengthen bilateral relations and promote cooperation in diverse sectors including governance, economy, regional stability, and social development.
