SWAT: Accountant General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Khalid Mahmood paid a visit to the District Accounts Office Swat. He was accompanied by District Comptroller of Accounts Swat Nishad Ali, and District Accounts Officers Sajid Khan and Najeeb Ullah. During the visit, the Accountant General conducted a detailed inspection of various sections of the office, including Pension, G.P. Fund, HR, and the Counter Section, among others. He obtained information from the staff regarding the services being provided to government departments and employees, as well as the issues they face. On this occasion, Accountant General Khalid Mahmood was given a comprehensive briefing on the overall performance of the office, available facilities, public services, and challenges. Expressing satisfaction over the office’s performance, he instructed officers and staff to perform their duties with honesty, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility. He particularly emphasized the need to treat government employees, especially retired personnel (pensioners) with courtesy and full cooperation, so they receive both ease and respect during their visits. He assured the immediate and prioritized resolution of the issues highlighted during the briefing and stated that practical steps would be taken to address these matters to further improve government financial operations.
