ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of Russia to Pakistan Albert P. Khorev extended warm and heartfelt congratulations to the people of Pakistan on the occasion of Independence Day.
In his message, Ambassador Khorev said the national day reflected the courage, determination and strong spirit of the Pakistani people. He noted that over the decades, Pakistan had followed its own path of development guided by the ideals and aspirations of its founding fathers.
He highlighted the traditionally friendly and mutually respectful relations between Russia and Pakistan, saying the two countries shared a long history of cooperation and maintained close and constructive contacts in various fields.
Khorev expressed confidence that both countries would continue working together to strengthen mutual understanding and expand their partnership for the benefit of their peoples.
Wishing Pakistan peace, stability and prosperity, the ambassador prayed for the good health, success and well-being of the Pakistani people.
Concluding his message, Ambassador Khorev said: “Pakistan Zindabad! Rus-Pak Dosti Paindabad!”
