PML-N Leadership Discusses Senate Strategy, Political Situation in KP

PESHAWAR: Federal Minister and Provincial President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Engineer Amir Muqam, held a special meeting with Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, at the Governor House to deliberate on the evolving political landscape in the province.

During the meeting, both leaders held detailed discussions on the current political situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, opposition coordination, and the upcoming Senate elections. Key focus areas included the strategy of opposition parties, coordination with assembly members, and various proposals aimed at fostering political stability and democratic engagement.

The two leaders also reviewed ongoing contacts with opposition parties and MPAs, signaling increased political maneuvering ahead of the Senate polls. The meeting is viewed as part of broader efforts by PML-N and its allies to consolidate support within the provincial assembly.

This high-level political engagement comes at a time of visible rifts within the ruling coalition in KP and increased momentum from opposition parties.
