ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON, Engineer Amir Muqam, met with the newly appointed Chief Secretary of Gilgit-Baltistan, Arshad Majeed Mohmand.
On this occasion, Secretary for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON Zafar Hassan, Chief Commissioner for Afghan Refugees Ismatullah Shah, and Senator and Chairman of the Standing Committee on Less Developed Areas Niaz Ahmed Khan were also present.
The Federal Minister congratulated the newly appointed Chief Secretary and expressed his best wishes for him. Engineer Amir Muqam expressed hope that the new Chief Secretary would take effective steps to promote development and maintain law and order in Gilgit-Baltistan.
He reaffirmed the commitment that, under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, the federal government would provide all possible support for the development and stability of Gilgit-Baltistan.
