PESHAWAR: Following the torrential rains and landslides in Dilurai area of Tehsil Topi, Swabi, the Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps North relief teams promptly reached the affected areas and launched emergency operations.

Relief and rescue efforts are ongoing in Dilurai, Sarkoi, and Bada of Tehsil Topi, as well as in Buner, Shangla, and Swat. The Corps of Engineers has successfully opened several blocked communication roads to restore access to the affected regions.

In addition, Army doctors have established a medical camp, providing free medicines to residents, while essential relief items including rations and bedding have been distributed among affected families.

 

The operation will continue until all affected people are safely rescued and shifted to secure locations. Locals have expressed deep satisfaction with the relief efforts and extended their gratitude to the Pakistan Army for its timely assistance.
