MARDAN: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was successfully signed between the College of Veterinary Sciences, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan and the Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Health, Wuhan Textile University to foster academic cooperation and joint research initiatives.
The MoU signing ceremony took place at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan and was formally signed by Sher Bahadar Khan, Principal, College of Veterinary Sciences, AWKUM, and Wajid Hussain, representing the Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Health (SOBH), Wuhan Textile University.
Special appreciation was extended to Professor Zhaowei Zhang, Dean SOBH, and Director Ji Chen (International Affairs) for their support and encouragement in advancing this collaborative initiative.
The ceremony was witnessed by Jamil Ahmad, Vice Chancellor, AWKUM, and Tariq Mehmood, Director ORIC, AWKUM, along with faculty members and officials from both sides.
This strategic partnership aims to promote academic exchange, joint research projects, faculty and student mobility programs, and collaborative initiatives in biomedical engineering, animal health sciences, and emerging One Health domains. The agreement is expected to strengthen institutional linkages and open new avenues for innovation and international research cooperation.
Both institutions were congratulated on taking this significant step toward enhancing global academic partnerships and fostering cross-border knowledge sharing.
