Senator Rubina Khalid provided a comprehensive briefing on BISP’s current initiatives

ISLAMABAD: Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid, called on senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and President of the Women’s Wing, Member of the Provincial Assembly Ms. Faryal Talpur, at Zardari House today. During the meeting, Senator Rubina Khalid provided a comprehensive briefing on BISP’s current initiatives, recent reforms, and newly introduced policies. She also briefed Ms. Faryal Talpur on the inauguration of the “Benazir Hunarmand Program, held at Aiwan-e-Sadr under the chairmanship of the President of Pakistan, Mr. Asif Ali Zardari. The program is regarded as a landmark initiative for the economic empowerment of deserving women and their families. Senator Rubina Khalid also shared insights from her recent visit to Sindh, highlighting the implementation of various BISP programs in the province. These include Benazir Kafalat, Taleemi Wazaif, the Nashonuma program, and the transparent and dignified disbursement of financial assistance to eligible women.
