ISLAMABAD, May 29 : A delegation from Beijing CNNC Sunshine Electric Technology, a prominent Chinese energy company, met with Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi here on Thursday to discuss energy challenges and investment opportunities in the province. The meeting took place at the Governor House in Islamabad.
The Chinese delegation included representatives Jiang Weijin, Lu Yang, Liu Jihang, and Pakistani Director Engineer Fazal Rabi Jan.
During the meeting, the participants held detailed discussions on the existing energy issues in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and explored new avenues for investment aimed at benefiting the local population.
The delegation briefed Governor Kundi on the company’s advanced technology and ongoing energy projects, emphasizing their interest in investing in Pakistan’s energy sector.
They also discussed proposals related to the provision of electricity, transformers, and related equipment in remote areas of KP, along with creating employment opportunities for local communities.
Governor Faisal Karim Kundi welcomed the delegation and highlighted the urgent need for development in the province’s energy sector.
He said that foreign investment is crucial for the province’s economic growth and the welfare of its people.
