PESHAWAR: Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information, Shafi Jan, has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a police vehicle in Tehsil Lachi, Kohat.
He stated that the martyrdom of four police personnel, including a DSP and an ASI, in this cowardly act of terrorism is deeply tragic and heartbreaking. He said that those targeting police officers and personnel will not be allowed to succeed in their nefarious designs under any circumstances.
Shafi Jan emphasized that the perpetrators involved in such cowardly incidents deserve no leniency and will be brought to justice at all costs. He reaffirmed that the provincial government remains fully committed to eliminating the scourge of terrorism and that such attacks cannot dampen the resolve of the government or the nation.
He further stated that the martyred police officer and other personnel are a source of pride for the nation, and their sacrifices will never go in vain. The sacrifices rendered by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police for the establishment of lasting peace in the province are unforgettable.
The provincial government stands in solidarity with the bereaved families during this difficult time. Shafi Jan also prayed for the swift recovery of the three injured police personnel and for the highest ranks in Jannah for the martyrs.
