CHARSADDA: A colorful inaugural ceremony of the Annual Sports Olympiad of the Montessori Section of Peshawar Millennium School, Charsadda, was held with great enthusiasm. The chief guest of the event was Provincial Director Sports Ms. Maria Samin, while Director PMS Charsadda Ms. Daniya Shiraz and Principal Ms. Nusrat Nazir accompanied her in lighting the Olympic torch to formally inaugurate the sports activities.

During the ceremony, young children displayed outstanding performances in various games and received great appreciation from the audience. On the occasion, mothers of the students also actively participated in sports activities, while exciting competitions in football, cricket, badminton, and cycling were organized for students.

Addressing the gathering, Director of Peshawar Millennium School Khawaja Shiraz Nasir stated that the school provides ample opportunities for both curricular and co-curricular activities to promote the all-round development of children. He added that, in addition to the Sherpao Campus, new campuses of Peshawar Millennium School are under construction in Swabi, Shabqadar, and Peshawar, with work progressing at a rapid pace.

He further informed that according to the Peshawar Board’s 2025 academic calendar, PMS Charsadda Girls secured first position while the Boys achieved second position, reflecting the institution’s strong academic standards. He said that Peshawar Millennium School Charsadda consistently maintains its position among the top three and top twenty institutions of the Peshawar Board.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Provincial Director Sports Ms. Maria Samin appreciated the organization of the Sports Olympiad for Montessori children and termed it a commendable initiative by Peshawar Millennium School Charsadda. She emphasized that such activities help develop confidence, discipline, and teamwork among children, which are essential for their mental and physical growth..
