Dera Ismail Khan: An important meeting was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Dera Division, Dawood Khan, regarding the timely completion of the building and commencement of classes at Girls Cadet College Dera Ismail Khan. The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Finance) Farhan Khan, Principal RPDC College, District Education Officer (Female), Principal Mufti Mahmood Public School and College, Assistant to Commissioner (Political & Development) Sajjad Baloch, and other concerned officials.

The meeting discussed in detail the early initiation of academic activities for female students and the provision of necessary facilities. The Commissioner directed that arrangements for the college building be completed on an emergency basis to ensure that classes begin on time. He emphasized that providing a quality educational environment for female students is a top government priority.

Instructions were also issued to finalize the recruitment process at the earliest to avoid any disruption in academic and administrative affairs. The Commissioner stressed that merit and transparency must be strictly ensured.

The forum unanimously decided that, initially, classes will be started in the available building of the Regional Professional Development Center (RPDC). Additionally, to avoid any inconvenience to RPDC, extra space will be provided at Mufti Mahmood Hostel so that both institutions can function smoothly.

The meeting highlighted that the establishment of Girls Cadet College will prove to be a milestone in promoting female education in the region. Participants expressed their commitment to aligning the institution with modern educational standards and providing the best residential and academic facilities to students.

Furthermore, the Commissioner directed the concerned authorities to prepare comprehensive plans for security, transport, and other basic facilities at the earliest, ensuring that the institution emerges as a model educational center. He assured full support from the district administration for the successful implementation of the project.
