Peshawar:
Complaints have begun to emerge from WAPDA employees regarding alleged inappropriate behavior and poor customer service by the staff of a UBL branch located in Irrigation Colony on Warsak Road, causing concern among employees.

According to reports, WAPDA official Syed Badshah visited the bank yesterday to cash a cheque worth five hundred thousand rupees. He requested the bank staff to provide the amount in five-thousand-rupee notes to make transportation and usage of the cash easier. He alleged that despite his request, the bank staff paid the amount in one-thousand-rupee notes instead, which caused him considerable inconvenience and difficulty.

The affected official stated that not only was his request ignored, but the staff’s attitude was also unsatisfactory, leading to unrest among WAPDA employees.

Local WAPDA employees have urged the relevant authorities to take notice of the branch’s operations and staff behavior so that customers may receive better services and such issues can be avoided in the future.
