Bajaur: On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Bajaur, Mr. Shahid Ali Khan, and in light of provincial government orders, Assistant Commissioner (Headquarters) Khar, Dr. Sadiq Ali, carried out operations in various areas of Raghgan Dam and Fajja Khwarr.
During the inspection at Raghgan Dam, two boat operators were taken into custody for violating Section 144 and disregarding safety SOPs issued for water bodies. Legal action has been initiated against the violators for their failure to comply with the prescribed safety protocols during boating.
In a separate operation under the ongoing anti-encroachment drive, a crackdown was conducted against illegal excavation and mining activities in the Khar-Fajja Khwarr area. During the action, three vehicles involved in the unauthorized extraction and transportation of minerals and soil were seized, and three individuals were arrested on the spot.
The district administration has reiterated its commitment to maintaining public safety, protecting natural resources, and upholding the rule of law. It has further stated that such operations will continue, and strict legal measures will be taken against all violators without discrimination.
