DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A full-scale crackdown has been launched against criminals involved in theft, robbery, and activities disturbing law and order in the district.
The decision was taken during a high-level crime meeting held at the Range Office under the chairmanship of Regional Police Officer (RPO) Syed Ashfaq Anwar. Senior police officials, including SPs, SDPOs, and SHOs from City and Paharpur circles, attended the meeting.
Reviewing various cases, the RPO directed strict action against all criminal elements, including previously recorded offenders and those involved in theft of PESCO material. He ordered the formation of special teams to ensure immediate operations and emphasized that no leniency would be shown, warning of action against officials showing negligence.
