D I Khan: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former District General Secretary Chaudhry Riaz Advocate has strongly condemned the blast at the Aman Mela checkpost in Darazinda, Dera Ismail Khan, and expressed solidarity with the families of those killed and injured.
Chaudhry Riaz prayed for the elevation of the ranks of those who lost their lives, including women and children, and for the speedy recovery of the injured.
He demanded that the federal and provincial governments immediately announce financial assistance for the families of the deceased and those injured in the attack.
He strongly condemned the attack and said such acts of violence were deeply distressing for the people of the area.
The blast at the Aman Mela checkpost in Darazinda on September 26 killed and injured a number of people. Subsequent reports also said rescue personnel came under fire while transporting victims from the site.
