Bajaur: The death anniversary of prominent Khudai Khidmatgar leader Syed Abdul Mannan Kakaji was observed with great reverence and respect in Bajaur. In this regard, a dignified and impressive ceremony was held at the residence of the late leader, attended by leaders of various political parties, tribal elders, poets, journalists, party workers, and a large number of his family members.
Among the participants were Pakistan Peoples Party’s provincial leader and former Member of the National Assembly Syed Akhunzada Chattan, Pakistan Muslim League (N) district president Malik Gul Karim Khan, Jamaat-e-Islami leader Haji Sardar Khan, Awami National Party district president Gul Afzal, Malik Gulzada, Malik Ataullah Khan, and other distinguished guests who arrived from Jandol. The participants paid tribute to the services of the late leader and described his political and social role as a guiding light for the region.
Speakers said that Syed Abdul Mannan Kakaji was a sincere, principled, and ideological worker of the Khudai Khidmatgar movement, who devoted his entire life to public service, peace, tolerance, and the promotion of the philosophy of nonviolence. They added that his simple lifestyle and principled politics remain a bright example for the younger generation.
During the ceremony, an emotional poetry session was also held in which poets from different areas paid tribute to Syed Abdul Mannan Kakaji through their verses, highlighting his struggle, character, and services in a poetic manner. The poetry session was highly appreciated by the audience.
On this occasion, the late leader’s son, Imad Darwish, welcomed the guests and thanked them for their presence. He said that his father had devoted his entire life to principles, truthfulness, and service to the people, and that all family members take pride in his ideals. Imad Darwish expressed his resolve to continue his father’s mission and the philosophy of nonviolence.
The entire family of the late leader actively participated in the ceremony and warmly received the guests. At the end of the event, a collective prayer was offered for the departed soul, and participants pledged to carry forward his ideals and mission of public service.
