Bajaur: A decision has been made to strengthen the school enrollment campaign in District Bajaur in order to increase the literacy rate and ensure that more children are enrolled in schools. In this regard, an important meeting was held at the DC Office Civil Colony Khar under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Bajaur Shahid Ali, attended by officials from the district administration, the education department, local government, religious scholars, and elected representatives.
The meeting was attended by District Education Officer Lodaan Shahid, officials of the education department, representatives of the local government, religious scholars, and other relevant stakeholders. The purpose of the meeting was to formulate a comprehensive strategy for the effective implementation of the school enrollment campaign across the district so that no child remains deprived of education.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Shahid Ali stated that education is the fundamental right of every child and the key to a bright and dignified future. He emphasized that the district administration is committed to ensuring that educational opportunities reach every child in Bajaur and that the literacy rate in the district improves significantly.
Several important decisions were made during the meeting to ensure the success of the campaign. It was decided that administrative officers, District Education Officers, Deputy DEOs, ASDEOs, teachers, and school principals will conduct regular awareness sessions to encourage parents to enroll their children in schools. Similarly, Village Secretaries will organize awareness sessions in their respective union councils.
The meeting also decided that religious scholars will use mosque platforms to regularly encourage parents to send their children to school. In addition, the Private Schools Association will actively participate in the campaign by organizing awareness sessions and making efforts to enroll as many children as possible.
Officials of the district administration, in collaboration with the education department, will conduct awareness activities in different areas of Bajaur. As part of the publicity campaign, banners will be displayed at various locations, and rallies will also be organized in different areas to ensure public participation.
After the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner Bajaur issued a special video message appealing to the people of the district to educate their children and enroll them in nearby educational institutions to secure their bright future.
The school enrollment campaign is a collective effort aimed at increasing the literacy rate in District Bajaur and ensuring access to education for every child, thereby laying the foundation for a more educated and progressive society.
