Gadani: The Collectorate of Customs Enforcement, Gadani, carried out the destruction of a substantial quantity of contraband, illicit, banned, and unfit-for-human-consumption goods at FEU Khurkhera on November 21, 2025.
The destroyed items included:
•Betel nuts: 614.6 MT
•Gutka & Supari: 85.7 MT
•Foreign-origin cigarettes: 21,261 outers
•China salt: 21.25 MT
•Various other miscellaneous confiscated items
The destruction process was conducted with full transparency and in strict compliance with all legal and procedural requirements.

In addition to the officers and staff of the Collectorate of Customs Enforcement Gadani, the ceremony was attended by the Deputy Commissioner Hub, DPO Hub, Judicial Magistrate, and representatives from the Environment Department, Pakistan Tobacco Company, Philip Morris, and various law enforcement and intelligence agencies.
This initiative underscores the firm commitment of Pakistan Customs to safeguarding public health, enforcing import regulations, and preventing the distribution of illegal, prohibited, restricted, and hazardous goods in the market.
