RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s political and military leadership has reiterated its unwavering commitment to defending the homeland, making it clear that any act of aggression will be met with a strong and decisive response.
While offering a transparent inquiry into the Pahalgam incident, Pakistan reaffirmed its resolve to respond firmly to any provocation. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and DG ISPR delivered a clear and unequivocal message regarding potential Indian aggression during a press briefing.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar stated that Pakistan’s armed forces remain on high alert and that the National Security Committee stands united with an unwavering resolve. He emphasized that any provocation by India would be met with a very strong and severe response.
He further added that Pakistan would respond to any misadventure at a time and place of its choosing, ensuring an effective and decisive outcome.
DG ISPR, in his remarks, underscored that Pakistan is fully prepared and closely monitoring all activities across multiple domains. He highlighted that counter-measures are in place in counter-terrorism, non-military fields, information operations, as well as air, land, and sea defense.
“Our message to any unprovoked aggression is clear: we are ready, not tempted,” DG ISPR stated, reaffirming Pakistan’s defensive posture combined with operational preparedness.
According to international experts, Pakistan’s leadership has demonstrated firm resolve and strategic clarity. They noted that with strong national determination and coordinated efforts, the country has effectively upheld its stance and conveyed its message through decisive actions.
