SWAT: District Police Officer (DPO) Swat, Muhammad Umar Khan, has assured tourists of their safety in Swat, saying that the valley has achieved exemplary peace. He invited tourists to visit Swat without any fear and enjoy the scenic beauty of the region.
Talking to a delegation of journalists, including Malakand Division Union of Journalists President Shahzad Alam, Ghfoor Khan Adil, Shah Asad Ali, and Murad Ali Khan, the DPO said that the people of Swat have played a significant role in maintaining peace in the region. He appreciated their cooperation with the police and emphasized that no one would be allowed to take the law into their own hands.
The DPO assured that the police are fully committed to protecting the lives, property, and dignity of the people. He said that the police are equipped with modern arms and are capable of dealing with any situation.
Muhammad Umar Khan invited tourists to visit Swat during Eid and assured them of complete security. He praised the people of Swat for their hospitality and cooperation with the police, which has contributed to the maintenance of peace in the region.
