TANK:- District Police Officer (DPO) Shabbir Hussain Shah has vowed to restore peace and order in Tank and eradicate the menace of narcotics. He revealed that special operations are being conducted against drug dealers and addicts, and patrols have been increased in various areas to monitor the situation.
Addressing a delegation from Press Club Tank at his office, DPO Shah assured that the public would witness a significant reduction in lawlessness and other illicit activities in the coming weeks. The delegation, led by Press Club Tank President Rafiq Ahmad Kundi.
The DPO expressed gratitude to the journalists for visiting his office and emphasized the crucial role of responsible media reporting in shaping society. He acknowledged the importance of print and electronic media in promoting regional development and constructive discourse.
The journalists engaged in a detailed discussion with the DPO on issues related to law and order and narcotics. DPO Shah acknowledged their concerns and assured them that he would take stringent action against criminals and drug dealers. He emphasized that he has been closely monitoring the situation since his posting 18 days ago and is determined to bring about positive change in Tank.
“We will soon witness a significant transformation in Tank, and the public will feel the impact of our efforts to curb lawlessness and promote peace,” the DPO said, expressing optimism about the future of the district.
