TANK: District and Sessions Judge Nadeem Muhammad has said that the use of modern technology in the legal field has become inevitable in the present era, as it plays a vital role in improving the efficiency of the justice system.
He expressed these views while addressing judicial officers and lawyers at the inauguration ceremony of an E-Library established at the District Bar Tank. He said that the facility would provide lawyers with quick access to national and international laws, judicial precedents and legal research materials, which would significantly improve their professional performance.
The District and Sessions Judge added that providing modern facilities to lawyers is essential for the timely delivery of justice and for strengthening the judicial system. He also thanked the Chief Justice of Pakistan for ensuring the timely provision of funds for the completion of the project.
On the occasion, President District Bar Tank, Pir Abdul Ghaffar Shah Advocate, termed the establishment of the E-Library an important milestone for the bar. He said the modern facility would particularly help young lawyers in legal research and case preparation.
He also expressed gratitude to the District and Sessions Judge for the initiative and said that the spirit of cooperation between the bar and the bench would continue in the future.
