THE HAGUE: A group of participants from the Hague Academy of International Law’s Summer Course in Public International Law visited the Pakistan Embassy in The Netherlands as part of the Embassy’s public diplomacy outreach.
Ambassador Syed Haider Shah welcomed the participants, representing different nationalities, and briefed them on Pakistan’s foreign policy, its perspective on international law, bilateral relations with the Netherlands, and engagement with Hague-based international organizations, including the OPCW, ICJ, PCA, and HCCH.
The session featured an interactive discussion on a range of international issues, with participants, including lawyers and academics, appreciating the opportunity to gain a better understanding of Pakistan’s views and diplomatic priorities.
The Embassy said the visit forms part of its ongoing efforts to engage with young scholars and strengthen academic and educational ties with institutions in the Netherlands while promoting Pakistan’s perspective on global issues.
