PESHAWAR: Maulana Muhammad Tayyab Qureshi, Chief Khateeb of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Imam of Peshawar’s historic Muhabbat Khan Mosque, paid a special visit to the U.S. Consulate to bid farewell to outgoing Consul General Shante Moore and extend a warm welcome to the newly appointed Consul General Thomas Eckert and Kapil Gupta, the incoming Political and Economic Chief.
During the visit, the U.S. Consulate highlighted its commitment to cultural preservation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, having supported six projects under the Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation, including the iconic Masjid Muhabbat Khan.
