TP REPORT
Peshawar: On the directives of Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi, Chairman Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Farzand Ali Wazir has instructed district secretaries across the province to provide maximum assistance to the public affected by recent rains.
In a statement issued on Friday, he said PRCS teams must reach affected communities in all districts and respond promptly to any emergency situations caused by rain-related incidents.
He also urged the public to strictly follow precautionary measures to avoid flooding and overflow of rivers and canals, stressing that human life is of utmost importance.
Farzand Ali Wazir further said that residents of remote areas, especially those in low-lying settlements and slums, should remain highly cautious as minor negligence can lead to major losses, particularly for children, women, and the elderly.
He added that PRCS teams are present across the province and citizens should immediately report any emergency situation through available communication channels without delay.
