Shangla:Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan, and SAFRON, and President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engineer Amir Muqam, after inaugurating the solarization project at the District Headquarters Hospital Alpuri, Shangla, addressed a large and dignified gathering at the Jirga Hall in Alpuri.

During his speech, Engineer Amir Muqam took a clear and courageous stance on the current political and administrative situation. He stated unequivocally, “I had authority in the past, and I still have it today. But I have never used my powers for personal or political revenge. I have always practiced principled politics, and this is the way of our party.”

He added that today his opponents are influencing transfers of lower-level government employees such as clerks, teachers, and forest guards on political grounds. “I warn them to refrain from political victimization and cheap tactics. Do not mistake my decency for weakness — I may be silent, but I know and understand a lot.”

He continued, “I managed a major institution like WAPDA for twenty years and served five times as a federal minister — can anyone name a single instance where I dismissed someone or denied someone their right on political grounds?”

He cautioned those who, based on political loyalty, are creating hurdles in solving public issues, reminding them, “My hands are not weak, and my silence is not permanent. Officers of institutions should remain within their limits. If a party worker comes with a legitimate request, it is unacceptable to ignore them based on political affiliation.”

Engineer Amir Muqam urged his workers to always stand by principles. “But if their rights are violated, I will stand with them at every level. This party is your home, and I will stand shoulder to shoulder with you.”
