Peshawar:
Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Information and Public Relations, Shafi Jan, has strongly reacted to the recent press conference of Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar and Talal Chaudhry, stating that both federal ministers should first assess their own political standing before lecturing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on public politics. He said that PTI is currently the only political party in the country that truly represents public service and public politics, whereas the present federal rulers came to power through a fraudulent Form 47.

In a statement issued here, Shafi Jan said that the narrative of Shehbaz Sharif’s close aides has completely failed and the nation is now fully aware of their false and unsuccessful narrative. He said that the press conferences and speeches delivered by federal ministers on the Tirah Valley in the National Assembly are on record and are sufficient to expose their contradictions and false stance.

The Special Assistant said that the true face of the fake federal government has now been exposed before the entire nation and that repeated press conferences are being used as a failed attempt to conceal facts. He added that the federal government played extremely negative politics on the issue of evacuation from Tirah, which the public will never forgive.

Shafi Jan said that federal ministers have gone back on their own statements regarding the operation, calling it not a U-turn but a well-organized drama to mislead the public. He alleged that Attaullah Tarar has been deliberately brought forward to spread disinformation.

He further said that Attaullah Tarar and Talal Chaudhry jointly launched an organized propaganda campaign against Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Sohail Afridi, but the politically aware public completely rejected this propaganda against the provincial government and the chief minister. He stated that fake federal ministers who make decisions behind closed doors are afraid to face the public, while the people have grown weary of the negative characters imposed on them at the federal level.

He added that the rejected group has resorted to cheap tactics to revive its dead politics, but Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has resolved to politically dismantle those engaged in anti-people politics.

Meanwhile, expressing regret over the registration of a recent case and the issuance of non-bailable arrest warrants by the federal government against Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi, Shafi Jan said that the federal government is frightened and panicked by the announcement of protests on February 8. He said conspiracies are being hatched to prevent the protest; however, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, along with the public and its workers, will ensure the success of the February 8 protest at all costs.
