Lahore: A delegation from Focus Business School (FBS), accompanied by representatives of the Christian Businessmen Fellowship Pakistan (CBFP), held a series of meetings with senior officials of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) to explore avenues for business collaboration and entrepreneurial development.

The FBS delegation was led by Swedish missionaries and entrepreneurs Bengt-Åke “B-A” Svensson and his wife Annika Svensson. Founded in 2008 by Marco Strömberg, Focus Business School is an international, Christian-based entrepreneurship institution operating across Scandinavia, Asia, Africa, and Eastern Europe. It offers both on-campus and online programs, focusing on business development, and management skills aimed at fostering self-reliance and job creation.

During their visit to FPCCI, the delegation, led by CBFP President Salim Shakir, met with Zaki Aijaz, Regional Chairman and Vice President FPCCI. In a separate engagement, the delegation also met Khurram Lodhi at LCCI. The discussions in both meetings focused on strengthening business linkages, identifying potential areas of cooperation, and promoting joint initiatives for mutual economic benefit.

Both sides emphasized the importance of innovative and unconventional business training models to empower entrepreneurs and stimulate sustainable economic growth. The exchange also highlighted the potential for collaborative efforts in capacity-building and skill development, particularly among emerging business communities.

The Christian Businessmen Fellowship Pakistan (CBFP), which aims to empower Christian entrepreneurs and enhance their representation in the national economy, played a key role in facilitating the engagement. The platform continues to connect professionals, encourage networking, and foster partnerships with national and international stakeholders.

The delegation included Tamoor Sandhu, Saima Samuel, Salomi Sharoon, Waseem Saleem, Junaid Khokhar, Naveed Riaz, James Nawab, Hina Waseem, and Yashwa Saleem Shakir.
