BAJAUR: The District Education Officer (Female) of Bajaur, Ms. Hassan Ara, has alleged that former Member of the National Assembly (MNA), Gul Zafar Khan, used abusive language and behaved in an inappropriate manner with her during a phone call.
According to the details, Ms. Hassan Ara told the media that the call was made from the mobile number of the District Education Officer (Male), Mr. Sherin Zada. She stated:
I ask through the media: in what capacity did Gul Zafar Khan dare to insult me? I demand the Deputy Commissioner of Bajaur to conduct an impartial and transparent inquiry into this incident.”
In reaction to the incident, all female staff members of the Female Education Office, along with the district general secretary of GEGA Bajaur, Mr. Najmuddin, strongly condemned the behavior and announced an indefinite strike. The strike is expected to severely disrupt the operations of the education department.
Sources confirm that the relevant authorities have been informed, and it is likely that the district administration will initiate a formal investigation into the matter.
