KHYBER: In a heartfelt tribute to the heroic sacrifices of fallen police officers, the Frontier Foundation, in collaboration with the Khyber Police, organized a blood donation camp at Police Line Khyber to mark Police Martyrs Day.
The event was held to commemorate the immortal sacrifices of police martyrs and was filled with a spirit of selflessness and national pride. Officers and jawans of Khyber Police participated enthusiastically, donating blood to support patients suffering from Thalassemia and Hemophilia.
District Police Officer (DPO) Khyber Rai Mazhar Iqbal visited the camp and formally inaugurated the campaign by donating blood himself. Speaking on the occasion, DPO Mazhar Iqbal stated:
“The martyrs sacrificed their today for our tomorrow. While their sacrifices are irreplaceable, donating blood in their memory is a small but meaningful tribute from all of us.”
Dr. Fakhar Zaman, Medical Director of the Frontier Foundation, expressed his gratitude to the Khyber Police and especially to the DPO for organizing blood camps over the years in support of patients battling chronic blood disorders.
“We deeply appreciate the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police for their continued humanitarian engagement alongside their duty to protect the nation,” he said.
The event reflected a strong message of compassion, national solidarity, and the importance of remembering the sacrifices of those who laid down their lives in the line of duty.
