PESHAWAR: On the first day of Eid-ul-Fitr, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi hosted orphaned children from SOS Welfare Organization at the Governor House, Peshawar.

The Governor warmly welcomed the children, distributed Eid gifts, and spent quality time with them, sharing the joys of Eid. Children enjoyed taking photos with the Governor and celebrated the festival with enthusiasm.

Governor Kundi expressed heartfelt joy in sharing Eid happiness with orphans, emphasizing that these children are deserving of society’s full attention, love, and care. He highlighted that the true spirit of Eid lies in sharing love and compassion with the underprivileged.

He stressed the collective responsibility of society and the state in ensuring the welfare, upbringing, and education of orphaned children. “These children are the future builders of Pakistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Special attention must be given to their education and training to help them shine through hard work and learning,” he said.
