PESHAWAR: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has congratulated Pakistani taekwondo athlete Ahsan Mehsud on winning the Heroes International Taekwondo Championship, calling it a proud moment for Pakistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In a statement, the Governor said Ahsan Mehsud, hailing from Waziristan, showcased exceptional talent by defeating competitors from several countries, including India, bringing international recognition to Pakistan. He described the victory as a reflection of the athlete’s hard work, determination, and outstanding ability.
Governor Kundi said Pakistan’s talented youth are raising the national flag on international platforms, and Ahsan Mehsud’s achievement is an inspiration for aspiring athletes. He wished the champion continued success and more international honours for Pakistan in the future.
