The decision to impose Governor’s Rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa marks a significant moment in Pakistan’s history and reflects the state’s determination to confront terrorism and those accused of facilitating it. The province has experienced worsening law and order, rising terrorist attacks, casualties, and growing fear among families, with terrorist activity reportedly increasing by 195 percent. The federal government is said to have exercised considerable patience and remained open to political disagreements over development, resources, and provincial rights. However, opposition to the national counterterrorism policy is considered a matter of national security rather than ordinary political dispute. The PTI-led provincial government under Sohail Afridi has been accused of inaction against terrorist groups, refusing to implement the federal counterterrorism plan, failing to condemn attacks adequately, shifting blame, and neglecting to attend the funerals of fallen security personnel. These alleged failures have raised concerns about accountability, patriotism, and the provincial government’s responsibility to protect citizens. The state’s position is that terrorism, support for terrorist networks, and actions that undermine national security cannot be excused by political affiliations, tribal loyalties, religious slogans, or alleged foreign funding.

Instead of cooperating with the federal government against terrorism, PTI reportedly organized a long march intended to target Islamabad, creating further political confrontation at a time when national unity and security were urgently needed. This conduct has been criticized as irresponsible and destabilizing, particularly while security forces continue to sacrifice their lives and terrorist threats persist. The state is expected to prevent political groups from creating disorder, challenging its authority, or diverting attention from national security. Governor’s Rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is therefore regarded as a necessary step to address the deteriorating situation and reinforce the government’s responsibility to protect the country. PTI and Sohail Afridi face allegations that their conduct has undermined national interests, neglected the sacrifices of martyrs, and weakened public confidence in provincial leadership. The decision has reportedly received widespread public support across political affiliations and provinces, particularly from the families of martyrs and citizens exhausted by persistent insecurity. People hope for a peaceful and prosperous Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where children can play safely, markets can operate without fear, and citizens can worship freely. The central objective is to restore security, hold those responsible accountable, strengthen the state’s authority, and protect the lives and future of the people.

Now, the provinces will have the same policy against terrorism. There will be no more confusion. There will be no more mixed signals. There will be no more contradictions. There will be one unified front. There will be one clear policy. There will be one clear message. The good results of this will come in the coming days. The terrorists will have no place to hide. The facilitators will have no place to run. The anarchists will have no place to operate. The wrongdoers will have no place to find shelter. This is the promise of the state. This is the commitment of the state. This is the determination of the state.

The decision of imposing Governor Rule in KPK has given a clear message. It is a message to all wrongdoers. It is a message to all anarchists. It is a message to all anti state elements. It is a message to all terrorists. And it is a message to all their facilitators. The message is simple. There is no space for you. The State and the people of Pakistan do not have any space for you. This message is not limited to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This message goes everywhere. It goes to Balochistan. Whether it is the BLA in Balochistan, the state is watching. It goes to KPK. Whether it is the PTI in KPK, the state is watching. It goes to AJK. Whether it is the JAAC in AJK, the state is watching. It goes to every corner of the country. Whether it is the TTP, Fitna ul Hindustan, and Fitna ul Khawarij, the clear message is the same for all. No more space for wrongdoers. No more space for anarchists. No more space for anti state elements. No more space for terrorists. And no more space for their facilitators.

The people of Pakistan love Pakistan. This is a simple truth that is often forgotten. This is a simple truth that is often ignored. This is a simple truth that is often denied. The people want to make it peaceful. They want to make it secure. They want to make it prosperous. They want to build a future for their children. They want to live without fear. They want to walk in the streets without looking over their shoulders. They want to send their children to school without worrying if they will come home. They want to go to the market without worrying if a bomb will explode. They want to pray in the mosque without worrying if a suicide bomber will strike. And for this to happen, the wrongdoers must be rejected. The terrorists must be rejected. The facilitators must be rejected. And the people demand that they be dealt with with iron hands. Not with soft gloves. Not with political compromises. Not with silence. Not with excuses. Not with delays. But with iron hands.

The time for patience is over. The time for waiting is over. The time for watching is over. The time for action is now. The Governor Rule in KPK is just the beginning. It is the first step in a long journey. It is the first step in a difficult journey. It is the first step in a necessary journey. But it is a step that must be taken. It is a step towards a Pakistan where the writ of the state is supreme. It is a step towards a Pakistan where the terrorists have no home. It is a step towards a Pakistan that the founders dreamed of. A Pakistan that is safe for all. A Pakistan that is strong. A Pakistan that will not bow to anyone. A Pakistan that will not surrender to anyone. A Pakistan that will not compromise with anyone. The message is clear. The decision is made. The state has decided to deal with them with iron hands. And the people stand with the state. And the people support the state. And the people trust the state. And the people believe that this decision will bring peace. And the people believe that this decision will bring security. And the people believe that this decision will bring prosperity. And the people believe that this decision will bring a better future for Pakistan.
