Islamabad: Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, held an important meeting with Governor of Punjab, Sardar Salim Haider, at Punjab House Islamabad. The discussion focused on the country’s overall political situation, interprovincial coordination, and various matters of mutual interest.
During the meeting, both leaders lauded the exemplary roles of President Asif Ali Zardari and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in promoting national stability, development, and prosperity, describing their leadership as a crucial need of the time.
They emphasized the importance of political stability, continuity of the democratic process, and strong coordination between institutions under the current circumstances. Governor Faisal Karim Kundi highlighted that national unity and political harmony are essential to meet the challenges facing the country and urged all political forces to work together for the greater good of the nation.
Governor Sardar Salim Haider underscored that effective communication and cooperation among institutions are vital for democratic stability and public welfare. He added that strong relations between the federation and the provinces are key to accelerating the country’s development.
The meeting was also attended by former National Assembly member Murtaza Satti and other PPP leaders. Governor Punjab extended an invitation to Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to visit Fateh Jang after Eid.
