KARAK: The Grand Jirga was held in the District Council Hall for law and order, attended by local elders, scholars and organizations. The jirga discussed the total security situation of Karak district and the problems facing the people. The Elder and local leaders and people of Karak also announced to work for peace along with security agencies. Deputy Commissioner Karak Asad Sarwar, DPO Karak Shahbaz Elahi, Additional Deputy Commissioner Karak, Assistant Commissioner Takht.E.Nasrati Hazrat Bilal, Assistant Commissioner Banda Dawood Shah Hafiz Ali Naeem Sheikh, District Emergency Officer Karak Atif Sardar participated in the jirga. Addressing the Peace Jirga, Kohat Division Kohat Task Force Commander Brigadier Khurram said that without peace, development and prosperity is not possible. When there is peace in the area, prosperity and development will be prosperous and prosperous. The misguided people who have killed innocent people have nothing to do with Islam, he said, adding that we cannot forget those who showcase their lives for homeland and peace, nor will their sacrifices go to Raighan. The role of scholars and elders is very important. Make the public and especially a new generation, the misuse of social media is affecting our new generation. Locals do not shelter peace enemies and do not facilitate any kind of facilitation. Jirga participants vowed to stand side by side with security agencies and civil administration for peace and declared every sacrifice for peace.
