BUNER: In a significant humanitarian effort, the Hamza Foundation Peshawar organized a free medical camp in the flood-affected areas of Buner to address the urgent health and financial needs of the residents.
The devastating floods have left many families struggling with health crises, displacement, and lack of access to medical care. Recognizing this dire situation, the Hamza Foundation stepped forward with an initiative aimed at providing immediate support to those in need.
At the camp, Dr. Tariq Khan personally examined more than 150 patients suffering from various flood-related ailments, including waterborne infections, respiratory issues, and injuries. Free medicines were distributed on the spot, ensuring that patients received timely treatment without any financial burden.

In addition to medical assistance, Engr. Hamza Ejaz, representing the Hamza Foundation, provided cash relief to families who had lost their homes, livelihoods, or essential belongings in the floods. The financial support aimed to help them meet their immediate daily needs and rebuild their lives with dignity.
Speaking on the occasion, Engr. Hamza Ejaz emphasized the foundation’s ongoing commitment to serve the people during difficult times:
“Our mission is to stand by the people of Buner in their hour of need. This medical camp is just one of many steps we are taking to ensure they have access to healthcare and basic necessities after this calamity,” he said.
Local residents expressed their gratitude for the timely intervention, stating that such initiatives bring hope and relief to communities struggling to recover from the natural disaster.
The Hamza Foundation has announced plans to continue its relief activities in other affected areas of the region, focusing on both medical and financial assistance in the coming weeks.
